CONCLUSIONS
The ceramic biomaterial, consisting of hydroxyapatite and β-tricalcium phosphate with a needle-like structure, has biocompatible and high osteoconductive qualities, as evidenced by the location of cells on the surface of the granules in the early stages and the formation of bone tissue directly on the granules and between them in the area of the defect.
The biomaterial does not cause a chronic inflammatory reaction. At all study periods, granules of various shapes and changes were present in the defect.
Bone regeneration under the conditions of ceramic biomaterial in the form of granules proceeded in accordance with the characteristic direction of reparative osteogenesis. That is, there was a consistent tissue formation with an increase in bone maturity.
